Great Ideas For Days Out

Most people who visit Dorchester simply love to enjoy the ambience and superb atmosphere of the county town itself but there’s plenty to do close by. One of the attractions is the famous open and covered market on Wednesday. There’s the Thomas Hardy Hall, Thomas Hardy Cottage and the giant fort just outside the town dating from 3000BC. With an ampitheatre skillfully adapted from a native earthworks where Thomas Hardy was born in 1840.
